Pastor Elliott Malm

The Rev. Elliott Malm is the pastor of Mabel First Lutheran Church and a minister of Word and Sacrament in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). Prior to being called by the congregation in 2014, he served as the pastor of Zion-Holden Lutheran Parish in the ELCA Northeastern Minnesota Synod.

Pastor Malm received a Bachelor of Arts in history & Christian studies from Crown College (St. Bonifacius, Minn.) and a Master of Divinity degree from Luther Seminary (St. Paul, Minn.). He is certified as a facilitator of Prepare/Enrich, a relationship assessment used widely by clergy and professional counselors to help couples idenitify their strength and growth areas. He is also active as a community leader, serving as president of the Mabel Active Aging Association and a board member of the Salvation Army's Fillmore County Service Unit.

Secretary Michelle Jahnke

Michelle Jahnke is the secretary for Mabel First Lutheran Church. She performs a wide array of administrative tasks in the church office, which include record-keeping, coordinating scheduled events, and preparing worship bulletins, reports, and newsletters.
