Prayers of the Church
Prayer is understood as the work of the church. As a Christian community, we lift before God our prayers of intercession. We pray for people who are experiencing the loss of loved ones, recovering from injury and illness, hospitalized, active in the armed services, and have other various ongoing concerns. If you or one of your loved ones would like to be included in our prayers during Sunday worship services then please e-mail office@mabelfirst.org or call the church office at 507-493-5293.
Prayer Box
People are also invited to write out prayers and place them in a wooden prayer box located in the sanctuary. These prayers are not read by anyone. The prayer box, which was handcrafted by a member of the congregation, collects the prayers of those who wish to remain anonymous.
